Plasma is an electrically conductive ionised gas. Technically, in plasma cutting ionised gas is propelled at a high speed from a gas nozzle while an electrical arc melts the metal. Then, compressed air is utilised to blow away the molten metal. Plasma cutting is utilized for cutting of various metals and metal alloys like steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using a plasma torch.

High speed and precision meet economical cost machines. Comes with easy to learn and use smart software and outstanding cutting capabilities. The CNC Plasma Cutting Machine is the industry leading CNC plasma cutting system driving businesses around the world to become leaders in their field.

A CNC plasma cutting utilises electrical current to change air into plasma which is ionised gas. A plasma stream from a gas nozzle to give energy to a conductive work material. An electric current generated by the power supply increases energy to the gas flow to ionize it, changing it into a plasma arc with temperatures upto 40,000˚ F. This plasma arc is what effectively cuts the metal sheet by melting the material, blowing away the molten waste. This plasma cutting method of sheet metal processing is precise and quick enabling the machinist to cut through different thickness efficiently. CNC Plasma Cutting delivers an automated process of metal cutting which improves accuracy and repeatability.

A CNC plasma machine utilises a plasma cutter to cut thin to thick metals along a multi-axis grid. A plasma cutting machine is utilised in CNC type systems to cut a varied range of materials like including carbon steel, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass, copper and other metals. Since it is programmed and controlled by a computer instead of human motion, the CNC method has an advantage over handheld plasma cutting tools due to the cut being. Plasma cutting machines use compressed air or other gases, such as nitrogen to make ionised gases to create plasma. Then, compressed gases come into contact with the electrode and then ionise to create more pressure. The cutting tip tightens the flow to create a stream of plasma which is pushed towards the cutting head when the pressure builds up in the chamber which is then exposed onto the workpiece. As the plasma is electrically conductive, the workpiece is linked to the ground through the cutting table. As the plasma arc comes into contact with the metal sheet melting it at that price point. Alongside the high speed of ionise gases blow away the molten metal.

The features of Plasma Cutting Machine:

  • Faster cutting speed than oxyfuel.
  • Can be utilized to cut all conductive materials.
  • Maximum cutting thickness up to 150 mm.
  • Super quality for thickness up to 50 mm.
  • Reduced cutting kerf relative to flame cutting.
  • Relatively economical for medium thickness cuts.
  • Efficient to cut medium thickness stainless steel and Aluminium.
  • Can cut in water, ensuing in smaller HAZ which diminishes noise levels.
  • CNC machines are offered to deliver high precision and repeatability.

Precision: Since operated via CNC control plasma cutting machines are extremely precise. The torch moves in an exact path set by the cnc system which is extremely precise and consistent every time leading to unrivalled precision on almost any cut.

Efficiency: Able to program and cut various shapes on demand, with no pre-heating or cooling required. Designed to handle large-scale cutting, manufacturing jobs, and one-off custom fabrication.

Increased Productivity: Comes with automatic torch height control and sophisticated CAD and CAM cutting software which increases productivity with less waste. Capable of accomplishing pristine cuts with minimum heat damage so that required cut is exactly the same dimensions.  So we are able to produce more high quality cuts in a shorter time.

Create a Variety of Shapes: Plasma cutting can make almost any shape or line conceivable with this tool from straight lines, curves, and intricate shapes very much impossible to accurately make by other methods.

Piercing Speed: Faster piercing speed as metal needed to work upon doesn’t require to be heated as which is opposite of oxyfuel method. Since plasma cutting doesn’t need this step, it can do the same piercing in less than two seconds.

Fast Cuts: Superbly fast cutting machine as compared to other methods and gets the jobs done in a quarter of the time of any other cutting tool letting you finish work in a shorter time.

Versatility: It is an effective way to cut both thinner and thicker regularly used to cut a wide range of metals, including steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, brass, etc. It can be also utilised in a numerous type of settings and industries to enhance production speeds and decrease costs.

Easy to use: As requires nominal training to acquire skills on how to operate effectively decreasing costs for factory shops looking to hire machine operators.

Safety: Has increased safety due to automation as the cut is set up and finished electronically, eliminating the need to hold a torch or handle metal during the process.

Appropriate for a Variety of Thicknesses: Plasma cutting can be done on metal sheets of up to one half inch in thickness, so it can be utilised for a variety of thicker pieces of metal sheets.

Reasonably priced: Now have become far more economical in recent years, with CNC shops ranging from large industry names all the way to individual contractors.

Lower Product Price: Price comes down to a lower range for the end user as it is a highly cost-effective process than other cutting methods. Since it can cut work pieces faster with minimum waste, there is little loss of on-the-job injuries.

Energy-Efficient Process: Plasma cutting is a more sustainable solution than other methods, hence more companies than ever before leaning towards using this service.
